Customer clarity is ensured by WHQ Audio Production informing people before they buy so they don’t end up feeling scammed. This is in contrast to other services that leave uncleared samples upon the customer, don’t do any refunds and don’t inform them of any of this before they buy!
GENERAL
The licence agreement is a legally binding document that records the sale, and establishes the transfer of rights and duties of both parties thereafter. Depending on the item & order, licence agreements vary.
All instrumentals are classified with tiers, as shown below. Each tier features a different price, profit split and number of included perks.
Across all items, WHQ Audio Production currently guarantees a minimum audio quality of 24-bit & 96kHz.

EXCLUSIVE
As soon as your down-payment is complete for any exclusive item from this website, an exclusive licence agreement comes into effect which involves the following:
- The customer instantly gains near-total exclusive rights over the respective recordings & composition.
- WHQ Audio Production retains some limited rights for promotional purposes.
- WHQ Audio Production retains some rights to re-use audio, melodies & patterns as signature sounds.
- The rights granted to the customer are perpetual unless there is a problem such as accidental double order.
- In this rare case, the licence agreement would automatically be null-and-void with no rights transferred, and refunds will be issued if a new agreement between all parties is not reached.
- The customer cannot retract their down-payment or initiate a refund; only WHQ Audio Production may initiate a refund.
- If the down-payment gets illegally retracted, the licence agreement is automatically null-and-void with no rights transferred, and the customer could face criminal consequences.
- The customer is fully responsible for ensuring timely payment of the profit split royalties specified in their licence agreement (up to 5%).
- The customer must pay all splits owed on a basis equal to the frequency that they receive their payments from labels or distributors; for example, if they are paid monthly then so must they pay WHQ Audio Production.
- If no payment occurs where payment is due, the customer may face legal repercussions including suspension of rights, copyright issues and removal of content until all payments are cleared.
- WHQ Audio Production must comply with the customer’s desired choice of perks.
- The customer may choose any combination of perks in any quantities as long as the total does not exceed the limit set by the licence agreement.
- The customer must contact WHQ Audio Production to request the perks be redeemed; until they do so, it will be assumed the perks are not desired.
- Customer perk requests must be made within 6 months of purchase.
- WHQ Audio Production must fulfill perks requests quickly and and within no longer than two weeks of request.
ORIGINALITY
WHQ Audio Production ensures original music production, without knowingly using audio samples from published material, to a degree beyond what is common practice in this industry. This is done by staying away from long samples and dodgy packs. However, it cannot yet guarantee that every sample used will be completely unique due to the nature of music production, especially involving drum samples in certain genres. For example, if multiple producers can purchase the same sample/preset kit, how can anybody expect that all songs using those materials will be completely unique? Watch this video to understand this point more.
Similarly, WHQ Audio Production ensures original music production, without copying or taking much inspiration from other music, to a degree beyond what is common practice in this industry. This is fundamentally embedded in its principles. However, it cannot guarantee that the instrumental will not sound like a song that has already been published, in the same way that you couldn’t guarantee this if you were to purchase any other instrumental or make your own. For example, two unrelated songs may have unintentional similarities in their patterns, melodies or progressions. Watch this video to understand this point more.
Although everything uploaded to this website is made up of organic or low-risk sounds, and checked on apps such as Shazam, it is the responsibility of the customer to fully investigate. Anyhow, WHQ Audio Production can always offer help in case of misfortune.
